In 1st national the numbers 1 and 2 faced each other with Dessel Sport and Patro Eisden Maasmechelen on Saturday evening.
That topper did not end well for Patro. The team of coach Stijn Stijnen went down 1-0. Vanhaen scored the only goal for Dessel after half an hour.
Patro still created some opportunities, but scoring was not in it. Once a ball from the Limburgers ended up against the post.
In 2nd A, Lokeren-Temse has won its 6th consecutive victory. This time Gullegem went for the ax on Daknam, result 2-1.
Van de Wiele gave the visitors the lead after 26 minutes, but Lokeren-Temse turned the tables before half time. With goals from Vermeiren and Symons, Lokeren-Temse took the lead and in a lesser second half, the 18 out of 18 was no longer in real danger.
Hoogstraten can further outrun Lyra-Lierse in the ranking of 2nd B.
Due to a corona outbreak in the core, Hoogstraten was unable to play his match against Wijgmaal. First pursuer Lyra-Lierse did come into action and did not get further than 2-2 at home against City Pirates.
Lyra-Lierse caught up twice, but did not get over his opponent. Hoogstraten has 44 points in the standings. Lyra-Lierse has 7 fewer.
In 3rd A, Oostkamp is on the championship course. Sint-Niklaas was presented with the bill: 3-1. Oostkamp leads authoritarianly.
Leader in 3B Racing Mechelen has suffered a 1-2 defeat at home against Witgoor Sport, a middle engine in the series.
Due to the loss of Esperanza Pelt against Turnhout, Racing remains in the lead with one match less. Racing will play its make-up match against Nijlen next Wednesday.
In the standings we see a lot of teams at the top of a pile. Racing Mechelen and Pelt have 36 points, Turnhout and Diest 35.
