The Venezuelan Rubén Limardo was established in 18th place at the World Cup in Sochi in Russia. The fencer had stopped his sporting commitments after testing positive for Covid-19.
Limardo announced his position in the world ranking through his social networks, where he admits feeling happy to “get back on track” and continue to give his best.
“I feel very satisfied since I am recovering my physical form,” was part of Limardo’s statement, reports the El Lider website.
On January 27, the Creole reported that he would be absent from the Doha Grand Prix due to the Coronavirus, unfortunately he was forced to be absent from the competition.
His compatriot Gabriel Lugo was also on the Sochi World Cup roster, ranking 12th. GG/JM
