Soccer officially returned to Argentina and the first date of the Professional League Cup was already played. A tournament made up of two zones and that classifies four teams per group to the quarterfinals: and so are the positions.
In zone A, all the victories were 1-0: Union over River (Luna Diale goal), Newell’s against Defense and Justice (González), Argentinos against Patronato (Nuss), Sarmiento against Atlético Tucumán (Licha López) and Platense before Workshops (Bergessio the goal). In addition, there were two draws, both 0-0 (Banfield-San Lorenzo and Racing-Gymnastics).
In Zone B, meanwhile, there were four winners with different results: Central Córdoba beat Barracas Central 3-1 (goals from López, Argañaraz and Martínez, Bandiera the discount), Vélez beat Aldosivi 2-0 (Orellano and Janson), Estudiantes beat Independiente (Boselli, Rogel and Laso) 2-1 and Huracán defeated Lanús (Cóccaro) 1-0. The draws were all 1-1: Arsenal-Rosario Central (Lomónaco and Ruben), Godoy Cruz-Tigre (Ferrari and Blondel) and Boca-Colón (Benedetto and Beltrán).
