The popular rapper took a knee on the ground in the style of Colin Kaepernic in the halftime show of Super Bowl LVI, held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Kaepernic, a former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, was the first NFL player to kneel during the singing of the United States anthem to protest discrimination and police brutality events against minority groups.
On Sunday, Eminem took a knee in his Super Bowl performance, defying the NFL’s order not to do so.
The rapper took a knee at the end of a performance of “Lose Yourself,” which also featured Dr. Dre and Anderson Paak on drums.
The kneeling form of protest was brought to the NFL by Colin Kaepernick, who began sitting quietly on benches during the national anthem at the start of the 2016 season on August 26.
On September 1 of that year, Kaepernick went on to kneel in protest, following the advice of retired Army Green Beret Nate Boyer, who suggested that kneeling during the ceremony would be more respectful to America’s war veterans.
