Last Monday and Tuesday, at La Gemmetrie, 34 children aged 7 to 15 attended a judo course supervised by the club coach, David Gelineau, and Kévin, a volunteer.
“We started with endurance with the big guys who jogged around the stadium, details David. All of them did muscle building, team sports, games, combat and an introduction to ju-jitsu. »
Of course, judo techniques were also discussed. The course ended with a card game, where the young people picked up techniques to perform in front of their classmates.
For the club, after two years without an internship due to the health crisis, the restart was successful. “We are going to offer other courses, announces the coach. One of two days in April, and another of three days in July, at the start of the holidays. »
Proof of renewed dynamism, the judo club won 20 licensees at the start of the school year, in September.
