The Celtics, winners of twenty out of thirty home games, move up from 7th to 6th position in the Eastern Conference, in which the Hawks are in 10th place and the Pacers, who have lost six consecutive games, in 13th. In the West, the Timberwolves remain 7th.
Trailing 55-45 at halftime, the Celtics outscored Atlanta 42-23 in the third quarter to pull away. “We just played with a little more rhythm,” said Jayson Tatum, author of 38 points and 10 rebounds. “We started attacking more.”
“We hope to be able to continue this momentum, we are trying,” he continued about the current good form of his team.
