Dominic Thiem can pull through again! Austria’s tennis star is back on the court.
The 2020 US Open winner is currently in the USA – the plan is to celebrate his long-awaited comeback at the Masters in Indian Wells from March 10th. In ideal conditions in Miami, the 28-year-old is working hard to attack with full force again.
“Let’s go!”, the Lower Austrian sends his fans on Instagram a video excerpt from the training.
Recently, a tendonitis threw up Thiem’s comeback plans. The aim was to get back into old form on a tour of South America.
“It’s not easy to make a comeback after a seven-month break,” he says. “I’m listening to the doctors’ advice, I need time on the pitch to make my comeback.”
It remains to be wished for the tennis ace to pull off his return this time around.
