Coleen Rooney (35) and Rebekah Vardy (39) have been causing a stir in England for more than two years. The focus: an Instagram affair and a subsequent defamation lawsuit!
What happened?
The wife of former top striker and current coach Wayne Rooney (36/currently at Derby County) accused the wife of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy (35) of having passed on private information to the English media.
The source of the information was private stories from her Instagram account. Rooney convicted Vardy by secretly blocking all contacts except ONE: Rebekah! She denied everything, claimed that others had access to her account and later called in lawyers.
In a nod to the world-renowned writer, Coleen Rooney has been nicknamed “Wagatha Christie” on English tabloids.
The quarrel between the two occupied the English tabloid media almost every day, hardly a day went by without new allegations. Most recently, however, things had been quiet in the Rooney vs. Vardy clinch – until now!
Rebekah Vardy and her friend and advisor Caroline Watt are said to have massively omitted Coleen Rooney in various WhatsApp chats, calling her “F****” and “B****”.
“This stupid cow deserves everything that happens to her,” Rebekah wrote, adding, “I will not speak badly of her to anyone. If she does, my goodness, let her.”

It’s just a pity that these messages – by whomsoever – were leaked to Coleen Rooney’s lawyers. These will now also be an issue in the next hearing in the process, which is to be continued in May.
