A centenarian “globe-trotter“, that’s how we could describe Renée Roffat, born February 9, 1922 in Ardèche, now a resident of the Longchamp residence (4th). All her life, she will have had the chance to travel around the world. Few countries she has not visited, thanks to her son Patrice who worked at Air France and who accompanied her on each of her adventures.
Her geographical knowledge has therefore increased and Renée can still allow herself to know the names of the capitals of all the countries. Within the establishment, she has many friends. Very determined and dynamic, she got involved in many associative groups, such as the old Marseilles committee or a botany club directed by Professor Bertrand, during which she studied the flora of Provence.
Finally, the love of his city allowed him to participate in the restoration of the Caroline hospital. At 100, Renée still maintains her form: physical exercises, practice of archery, pétanque and bowling. It was therefore in the presence of Mr. Jau, sector mayor and his team, that Renée Roffat celebrated her birthday with dignity.
