The Italian Andreas Seppi debuted this Monday with a victory in the first round of the ATP tennis tournament in Delray Beach (Florida, southern United States) over the German Peter Gojowczyk with scores 7-5, 6-4.
In one hour and 24 minutes, Seppi managed to advance to the second round, where he will face the winner of the match between the Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis and the American Sebastián Korda, fifth seed (N.5).
On the other hand, fellow local Maxime Cressy, seeded eighth, was surprised by Australian John Millman, who won the match with runs of 6-7 (2/7), 7-6 (7/2), 7-6. (7/3).
Millman will now collide in the next round against the winner of the duel between the American Marcos Girón and the also local Tennys Sandgren.
