The 32-year-old American, eligible for reinstatement since last year, was officially so on Monday after a long process, meaning he can now start negotiating with teams.
Evans was suspended for two years on May 17, 2019 after testing positive for narcotics. He is the first player suspended and then reinstated since Chris Andersen, who was reinstated in 2008.

Voted rookie of the year in 2010 with the Sacramento Kings (2009-2013), he also played for New Orleans (2013-2017), Sacramento (2017), Memphis (2017-2018) before joining the Pacers .
