Basketball excitement begins in Kahramanmaraş

The U16 Boys-Girls Local Basketball League, organized by the Turkish Basketball Federation and Kahramanmaraş Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, begins.

The U16 Boys-Girls Local Basketball League, organized by the Turkish Basketball Federation and Kahramanmaraş Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, begins.
Organized jointly by the Turkish Basketball Federation and Kahramanmaraş Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, the u16 Boys and Girls Basketball Local League starts with the participation of 5 teams for boys and 4 teams for girls. Competitions will start in the evening at Batıpark Sports Hall between 17:00 and 19:00 with 2 matches. While 1 day girls and 1 day boys 2 competitions will be played, 4 competitions will be held on the weekends, 2 girls and 2 boys.
Teams participating in the Local League, Genclikspor A, Genclikspor B and Kipaş Educational Institutions, Basketball Specialization A, Basketball Specialization B, Social Security A, Social Security B, the excitement will reach the ceiling. Field referees such as Ünal Özdemir, Mehmet Akçadağ, Emrah Açkar, Hüsyin Optur, Tayyip Yavuz will take place as Field Referees in the competitions, while experienced names such as Bekir Nahırcı, Selçuk Adıyaman, Hatice Sarıaltun, Sevda Sarıca, Mehmet Nahırcı, Selvi Naz Göktürk will take part in the table refereeing. Ruler, 24 seconds and Skorbortt will try to ensure that the match is played smoothly.

Regarding the u16 Boys-Girls Local Basketball League, which will be played between 14-20 February, Provincial Basketball Representative Mustafa Dağlı wished that the basketball season would be beneficial to all clubs and noted that the clubs took an important responsibility for the spread of basketball and the love of basketball especially in the lower age categories.
Provincial Representative Dağlı said, “Disseminating sports to the grassroots, holding more competitions, creating infrastructure for clubs and national teams, bringing talented athletes who could not join the next group as a result of local activities in the provinces to sports, creating a sustainable talent tracking system at the national level, all stakeholders in cooperation for the development of sports. We wish success to the Managers, Trainers and Athletes of our teams in line with the goals of ensuring that they are present and I wish the new season to be a gentlemanly one.”
