School holidays rhymed with a busy schedule for the Judo-club of Chalindrey and its section of Vaux-sous-Aubigny.
Saturday, February 13, during the Champenois minimal basin championship, in Saint-Dizier, Louane Zunino won in her category, Paul Debeukelaer and Fabian Morel obtained a 3e square. Léa Barbier was unclassified. The young people classified have therefore been qualified to fight during the Grand Est minim championship which will take place in Epinal. They were accompanied by Samuel Zunino. On the occasion of this sporting event, the Judo-club presented Maxime Barbier and Joeffrey Langlois as young official junior referees and Margo Grosmaire as young official junior sports commissioner. Following evaluations, Maxime and Margo were selected to officiate at the Grand Est Minimes Championship. Delphin Morel was the regional sports commissioner for this competition. Damien Petitjean, national referee and head of referees in the Champagne basin, organized the young official referee cup and evaluated the young officials. These two officials were also on duty during the Grand Est junior championship which took place the day before in Saint-Dizier.
On Wednesday, February 16, the young mini-chicks and chicks judokas of the Judo-club took part in an interclub course organized by the Judo-club of Langres. Thanks to their work, they brought back a cup to the club, offered by the departmental councilor of the canton of Langres.
Finally, on Saturday February 19, two places welcomed judokas in the town: the intercommunal gymnasium for a “samurai” activity with the presence of Kim and Ono and the rue Hoche dojo for departmental kata training with Margo and Mael.
