As BILD learned, Manchester United is enticing the defense star with an annual salary of around 15 million euros. The deal should go through in the summer. The central defender is said to get a 4-year contract. A transfer fee of EUR 25 to 30 million is under discussion.
As a reminder: BVB chief planners Sebastian Kehl (42) and Michael Zorc (59) would like to extend the contract with the Swiss, which expires in 2023, and made him a first offer of 8 million euros. Not enough for Akanji (earning around 5 million euros)! The defensive specialist demands 10 million euros because he wants to become one of the top earners at BVB.
