College Football: On the eve of a classic with Georgia, Alabama coach tests positive for coronavirus

College Football’s most renowned coach has tested positive for coronavirus on the eve of the most important game of the season so far. Nick Saban, head coach from Alabama, has Covid-19 and his participation in the Crimson Tide match against the Georgia Bulldogs is uncertain. Match that puts the number 2 team in the country, Alabama, against the number 3, Georgia. The match takes place on Saturday (17), at 21 pm. The confirmation of the positive result for coronavirus was informed by the technician himself this Wednesday (14).

– I found out this afternoon that I tested positive for Covid-19. I immediately left work and isolated myself at home. At the moment, I have no symptoms related to the disease and I have had another test to confirm the diagnosis. I informed the team of my result in a Zoom call and strike coordinator Steve Sarkisian will manage the activities at the Training Center while I work from home,” Saban said.

In the NFL, Nick Saban was the commander of the Miami Dolphins in the season with just one win and 15 losses, in 2005. In College Football, however, he is one of the most successful in history, with six national titles won.
