Becali no longer wants vaccinated players at FCSB, as Steaua is officially called these days. The reason: Vaccinated people are “weak,” says Becali. He is convinced that people who have had an injection die in the hospital, and not the other way around.
Players in the current selection of FCSB will still be drafted, but vaccination opponent Becali threatens to make life miserable for them, according to Romanian media by instructing the trainer to change them faster.
Becali has a dubious reputation and it is not the first time that he has been in the news for bizarre statements. In the past, he was sentenced to three years in prison after he offered a bribe to three opponents to lose a match on purpose.
