Another blunder is made, Indonesian netizens and supporters are now having a hard time trusting PSSI » Next Sport

The Indonesian national team since last year seems to be very busy, assisted by PSSI, there have been many changes, starting from the AFF Cup to the present Garuda squad is growing well.

Now ranked 160 FIFA, PSSI is eyeing a FIFA 150 ranking this year, targeting a significant increase of course PSSI must find a way to get it up quickly, one of which is against big teams.

“Alhamdulillah, the increase is quite significant. If possible, this year we can reach rank 150,” said the man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule.

Several countries have been targeted by PSSI and it is reported that the organization has spoken with several countries to compete in FIFA Matchday.

The Suriname Football Federation (SVB) does not yet know about the invitation to a test match with the Indonesian national team on FIFA Matchday.

“Those who communicate with us are Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, and there is also Suriname,” said Yunus Nusi, at Menara Peninsula Hotel, West Jakarta, Saturday (19/2/2022).

“We are certainly exploring all the potential of the several federations that have the opportunity to play in the FIFA Matchday in March,” he said.

But quite surprising, what was said by Yunus Nusi as a representative of PSSI was directly denied by the Technical Director of the Suriname Football Federation (SVB), Biswajeet Kali.

“We don’t know this yet [uji coba melawan Timnas Indonesia],” Kali was quoted by Sherald as saying.

“SVB are busy holding talks to find an opponent. There is only one match we will play on FIFA Matchday later. Until now the opponent has not been announced, maybe in the next two weeks,” he added.

Seeing this fact, several media on Instagram along with comments from netizens said that it was difficult to trust PSSI, some were even surprised that this had happened.
