Between 20 and 30 years of criminal imprisonment were required Thursday, February 24 at the assizes of Val-de-Marne against four men, including the three ex-brothers-in-law of Amadou Ba, Thai boxing champion murdered in 2018 in Créteil, in Paris suburbs. The four defendants, including the three brothers of Amadou Ba’s ex-wife, have been on trial since February 14. They incur life imprisonment. On April 3, 2018, in the evening, after giving boxing training, Amadou Ba was hit by six bullets and beaten with a baseball bat. He will die a few hours later in the hospital. His ex-wife’s younger brother, Yazid K., admitted firing the shots. Against him, the Advocate General requested the heaviest sentence, 30 years in prison. Sitting next to him in the box, Nacer K. claimed to have hit the victim with a bat. Twenty-five years in prison were required against him. The Advocate General has requested 20 years in prison for the third brother, Djamel K. and friend Karim A. The verdict is expected on Friday.
