RB Leipzig have to play against Russian club Spartak Moscow in the round of 16 of the Europa League. The club meets the former employer of coach Domenico Tedesco. That was the result of the draw on Friday in Nyon.
The first leg kicks off in Leipzig on March 10, with the second leg taking place on neutral ground a week later. Uefa had already decided that before the draw because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
After finishing third in the Champions League group, Leipzig made it into the top 16 in the Europa League with a 2-2 win in the first leg and a 3-1 win in the second leg on Thursday at Real Sociedad San Sebastian. Spartak was seeded as group winners.
Eintracht Frankfurt, on the other hand, meets Betis Sevilla. First of all there is an away game in the third division of the Spanish league on March 9th, the second leg will take place on March 17th. Bayer Leverkusen will face Atalanta Bergamo from Italy.
