The Plaza huincul basketball scene is ablaze with success as both Perfora and Petrolero continue their impressive runs in the Federal Basketball League’s Patagonia Division. Perfora’s dominance was on full display in their recent home game against Independiente.Despite missing key players Rodrigo Lavezzari and Luciano Pagani, the team, led by coach Fernando Claris, showcased their championship aspirations with a resounding 97-79 victory.
The match was a showcase of Perfora’s depth and talent. Martín: Thanks for having me. It’s always a pleasure to talk basketball, especially when it comes to my home division.
Moderator: Absolutely! And we have a lot to talk about. The Plaza Huincul teams are absolutely dominating the leadboards this season. Perfora currently sits undefeated at 7-1, while Petrolero is hot on their heels at 5-3. What are yoru thoughts on this early-season dominance?
Martín: I have to say, it’s pretty exciting to see. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen this kind of power coming out of plaza Huincul. Perfora, in particular, looks like a well-oiled machine. They’re deep, they’re talented, and Coach Claris seems to have them playing some truly inspired basketball.
Moderator: Speaking of Perfora, they managed a decisive victory against Independiente, even with key players Rodrigo Lavezzari and Luciano Pagani sitting out.Bautista Bazzetti stepped up big time with a 25-point,9-rebound performance. That’s got to be encouraging for them, right?
