Temixco hosts the National Badminton – El Sol de Cuernavaca

The National Qualifier for the Jr. Pan American Games begins this Friday, which will be hosted by the Dominican Republic 2022, where seven states of the Mexican Republic are participating, the stage will be at the Carlota de Temixco park facilities.

In this championship, the representative of the state of Morelos will be fighting to reach the highest number of tickets to this international competition; the games will be starting at 9 in the morning.

The Mexican Badminton Federation currently chaired by Francisco Javier Orozco Flores, in coordination with the Temixco city council, and the Morelos Association of the specialty directed by José Francisco Alcántara Cortés, has been working for the state to obtain the venue for this national qualifier.

In this National Championship there will be the states of Jalisco, Veracruz, Baja California, CDMX, Guanajuato, Nuevo León, Michoacán, and the hosts of the state of Morelos who will be the contenders of this national qualifier in which very exciting and high-quality matches are predicted. adrenaline for the fight in front of the net to reach the highest number of victories that take them to the end of the competition to the first places, and with a ticket to the international fair.

The modalities that will be participating are: Individual (female and male), Doubles (female and male), and mixed; category under-11 and minors (2012, and minors) female and male; sub-13 category (2010-2011) female, and male.

The Tlahuica team is made up as follows: U-11 men: Jesús Lagunas, women Kiara Mazón; while in the men’s U-13 category: Iktan Solórzano; Inti War; Iker Sánchez, women’s branch: Lucia Millán; Rebecca Gomez; Amzy Nunez; Emma Alvarez; Diana Tellez, and Denisse Lagunas.

For the ranking of the players, the following criteria will be taken into account: For the U-13 category, seeding will be done according to the last tournaments where the players involved participated; for the sub-11 category, the best history of the players involved will be sought, if there is no history, a draw will be held without seeds. The number of ranked players will be determined according to the number of registered players and the competition system.

From this event, 4 players will be classified in the singles modality, 2 men’s double pairs, 2 women’s double pairs, and 2 mixed pairs to the Jr. Dominican Pan American Games 2022, these categories will be subject to the call presented by the host country being able to be included or not; players must abide by the rules and provisions stipulated for this selective process, having to sign the corresponding acceptance letter.
