A Game of Strategy and Skill: Understanding Flag Football
flag Football, often considered a less physically demanding choice to traditional American football, shares many of its core principles.
Each team fields both offensive and defensive units. the attacking team has four attempts, or downs, to advance the ball past the midfield line. If successful, they earn another four downs to reach the end zone and score a touchdown, utilizing a combination of passes and runs.
The defensive team’s primary objective is to prevent these advances. They can achieve this by removing a flag attached to the ball carrier’s waist or by intercepting a pass. If the defense successfully halts the offense’s progress, their own offensive unit takes the field.
