Christian Leca had accused the president of the Disciplinary Commission of the LFP of being “in xenophobia”. The LFP was quick to react by threatening to file a complaint: “These statements are unworthy of your duties. We therefore reserve the right to take any legal action to defend the LFP as well as its elected, volunteer or salaried members”.
Asked by RMC Sport, Christian Leca kept his line of defense, with one detail: “I do not come out of this case unscathed, but I agree with my principles. I can’t stand injustice and bias. I admit that I should not have spoken of xenophobia but of corsophobia…”
