The Santa Marta City Council, through the Sports area, has carried out one of the first pickleball demonstrations in the closed fronton. It is a racket sport that combines elements of paddle tennis, tennis, badminton and ping pong and that, due to its characteristics, is suitable for all ages and physical conditions that is all the rage in the United States.
Demonstration days have taken place today, in which some 70 people have participated on the four courts that have been set up on the fronton with matches that have taken place in sections of an hour and a half, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. hours.
