Gignac’s bicycle

Considered a true star in Mexico, Gignac scored his 9th and 10th league goals this season. On the 3-0 goal, he took advantage of the risky outing of the opposing goalkeeper to pull off a superb bicycle shot into the empty net. A new double which increases its lead at the top of the ranking of the top scorers in the history of the Tigers with 157 achievements.

For Florian Thauvin, this goal should certainly give him a boost of confidence. The former Bastiais had a mixed start on Mexican soil with only 3 goals scored and two assists in 17 games. He had also started his experience across the Atlantic with a red card during his very first appearance with the Tigers.
