Led by their star Ricardo Calatayud, the Apaches began their attack with a beating drum, although they had great resistance from the Manzaneros, to conclude the first quarter with a tight 27-25.
Cuauhtémoc’s team was not a sweet tooth and fought all the time to such an extent that it put the cards even 47-47 at the end of the second quarter of the match.
Given this reaction from Manzanera, the Apaches stepped on the accelerator and with a great offensive work by Manny Hernández, they dominated the third period 76-69, an advantage that was maintained throughout the last quarter and ended with a final result of 99-85.
With this victory, the Apaches moved into third position in the table with a solid chance of reaching the playoffs.
