Corrientes Básquet once again closed a perfect weekend

Corrientes Básquet once again confirmed its great start to the season in the Women’s League and chained another victory. It was the fourth in a row, against Obras by 60 to 44. Shooting guard Sofía Cabrera was one of Corrientes’ top figures, standing out with a complete performance that yielded 21 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.

The women from Buenos Aires started converting from the hand of Belén Echeverría (three units and six boards), who contributed her firmness in the paint.

Clubs from Santiago del Estero, Misiones, Entre Ríos, Formosa, Chaco, Corrientes (Capital, Monte Caseros, Goya and Saladas), are participating in a women’s basketball tournament in the Maxi category, and it is for solidarity purposes due to the fire emergency that crosses the province.

The competition began this Saturday and continued yesterday with the group stages and preliminary instances.
