Simpson only moved to Bamberg from the Turkish first division club Gaziantep in the summer. Due to several injuries, the 30-year-old winger missed large parts of the preparation. Now the contract with Simpson has been terminated by mutual agreement.
Kyzlink last played at USK Prague and averaged just over 18 points per game. “Tomas is an athletic player who will bring us energy front and back and is looking forward to playing for Bamberg. He will give us defensive stability and strengthen us offensively as a ball handler and shooter,” said Bamberg coach Oren Amiel.
Kyzlink sees himself as an “energetic player who can bring his strengths to bear on both sides of the floor. I’m fast for my size and can anticipate things well. That helps me especially with rebounds.”
