Major League Baseball and the Players Union met this Sunday for the seventh consecutive day and with four different sessions over more than five hours in the state of Florida and although a new labor agreement was not reached, it seems that both Parts have progressed.

MLB officials affirm that this has been a very productive day and different hypotheses were discussed at the meeting. However, journalist Bob Nightengale assured through his Twitter account that both parties are still far apart on important issues.
There were no formal proposals exchanged and the two sides still are ‘far apart’ on significant issues.

It is expected that the meetings will continue tomorrow starting at 10 am in what would be the last day to reach an agreement before the deadline set by the Major Leagues and get the season to start on time.
