The Russian President has been Honorary President of the World Judo Federation since 2008.
Putin (above) has been taking judo lessons since he was young (here in 1971).
Because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the World Judo Federation is now opposing Putin.
He is suspended from his position as honorary president and ambassador of sport.
