Danilo Gallinari: Well, it’s certainly something I’m aware of. Right now, my focus is 100% on helping the Hawks reach their full potential this season. We’ve got a talented team, and I want to contribute to our success. After the season, I anticipate having conversations with the Hawks about their plans.
Those conversations will be crucial for anyone facing a free agency situation, right? We know you’ve always been a competitor who thrives in a prominent role. What are you looking for in your next chapter?
Danilo Gallinari: Absolutely. I’ve always wanted to be on the court, making a real impact. Ideally, I’d love to join a competitive team where I can play important minutes and utilize my skills to help them win. It’s about finding the right fit, a place where I can contribute and feel valued.
There’s a lot of buzz about your connection to Olimpia Milano. As a Milanese native, how closely do you follow their progress?
Danilo Gallinari: I’m very passionate about Olimpia Milano. I keep up with their games, and I’m incredibly proud of the team. It’s heartwarming to see former teammates like Nick Melli and Gigi Datome doing so well there, along with devon Hall, whom I played with in Oklahoma.
It’s clear Olimpia Milano holds a special place in your heart. Do you ever envision वापस returning to play for them?
Danilo Gallinari: Milan will always be my home. Playing for Olimpia Milano would be an incredible honor, representing the city I grew up in.It’s definitely something I wouldn’t rule out. Though, right now, my focus is on continuing my NBA journey
