On Saturday evening, three women between the ages of 22 and 25 were injured by a ground banger in Altstätten.
An unknown group of perpetrators had thrown the banger into the middle of the group of people during the carnival. The St.Gallen cantonal police are looking for witnesses.
The group of women was disguised as cheerleaders and a baseball team at the carnival. They stood together in a circle on Trogenerstrasse between the bars and the party wolves’ marquee. Suddenly, a ground banger exploded in the middle of the group.
Three women between the ages of 22 and 25 were slightly injured. They went to the medical center on their own and received medical care there.
The St.Gallen cantonal police are looking for witnesses. Anyone who can provide information about the incident or the perpetrators is asked to contact the Altstätten police station on 058 229 51 60.
