The Spanish Badminton Federation collaborates again with the doubles specialist Diemo Ruhnow.
These collaborations are framed within the sports project of collaborating with foreign references in different matters, so that the Federation’s sports management can count on external opinions and work together.
Spanish badminton continues to work to optimize training processes, both for players and coaches. The starting point was shaped by working with the doubles expert Diemo Ruhnow during the concentration that the CAR team developed last summer in La Nucia and later progress continued with training sessions at the academy of the renowned coach Peter Gade. The Federation took another step forward by starting to work with Lianyinginternationally recognized for working with ‘top’ players such as the current Olympic champion Victor Axelsen and now this work philosophy is continued by collaborating again with Diemo Ruhnow.
These work sessions are focused on the European Championship in Madrid 2022for the preparation of ranked couplesbut also for the growth of the doubles level of the group of the CAR of Madrid. Four group sessions and two individual sessions will be held with the couples classified for Madrid 2022.
These types of initiatives go beyond developing simple training days, since the main objectives of the collaboration are to analyze Spanish players and jointly develop short, medium and long-term sporting objectives.
