Prescott sets once-in-a-lifetime record, Cowboys equal 52-year record and destroy Washington Football Team

Cowboys didn’t suffer a second of the confrontation with Washington

With a fantastic performance, the Dallas Cowboys “walked around” the field and emerged victorious in week 16 Sunday Night Football NFL. The team received the Washington e won by 56 to 14.

The tour started early. Right on Heinicke’s first pass in the game, interception! Trevon Diggs reached his 11th of the season and equaled the Cowboys’ all-time record.

Diggs’ 11 interceptions so far in 2021-22 is already the most in the League over the past 40 seasons.

Then the rush of touchdowns didn’t stop. Only in the 1st room there were three. The first with Ezekiel Elliott. Then with Daltn Schultz and then with DeMarcus Lawrence. 21 to 0 only in the first 15 minutes.

Washington still tried to start a reaction with a touchdown early in the 2nd quarter, but three more touchdowns by the Cowboys ended all that.

Ezekiel Elliott, once again, Terence Steele and Amari Cooper, with five seconds left, led the Cowboys to an incredible 42-7 in the 1st half alone! The Cowboys’ 42 points equaled the franchise’s best record in 1st time (week 5 of 1969!). Also, Prescott’s 322 yards in the first half was the NFL’s most in the first 30 minutes of a game this season.

Washington’s players even fought off the field.

A record was also set in that game: Prescott became the second quarterback in history to throw a touchdown pass to a running back, tight end, wide receiver, and offensive lineman in the same game.

In the 2nd half, the Cowboys slowed down, which was expected, however, even so, they managed to block the punt and get another touchdown.

The Cowboys scored another touchdown at the start of the last period to make it 56-7. Washington cashed in with a touchdown. But that’s it, historic 56-14 score for the Cowboys

The Cowboys’ 56 points in the game was the 3rd highest in franchise history and the highest since 1980.
