The 2021-2022 season has been successfully launched at the city’s badminton club. To further mark the blow of this post-health crisis recovery, club officials have decided to launch a “flash” operation on the price of the license for 5-7 year olds. A great way to encourage the little ones to come and learn about the discipline by benefiting from the license at half price until November 3.
“The mini bad section corresponds to the 5-7 year old age group. The aim here is to develop motor skills and gradually learn to practice badminton through fun racket activities adapted to this age. Supervised by a trainee from the Creps de Talence sports educator training course as well as volunteers who help this professional speaker, the activity is adapted by the height of the net and the size of the rackets, and is intended to be a springboard towards the detection of possible talents but, above all, it is a leisure sporting activity”, explains Cédric Morelle, president of the BCCA, who also wishes to thank the city of Castelnaudary for its support and partnership.
For this age group, one hour of activity is proposed to be defined between the different practice groups on Wednesday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. For the most motivated, it can quickly turn into a real sporting activity, with meetings in the form of platforms organized at departmental level.
