Entertaining match at the Libertad Department between Deportivo Pasto and Alianza Petrolera. A time for each team: goals, controversies, VAR participation and more.
In just seven minutes, Alianza took the lead. The visit was intensified in a throw-in, Daniel Moreno overflowed from the right sector, entered the area and took a shot that goalkeeper Diego Alejandro Martínez closed well. But Sebastián Acosta captured the rebound at the penalty point and first decreed the opening of the scoreboard.
And the tankers went straight on. After half an hour of the game (33′), Leonardo Saldaña ran into the void on the left, before reaching the final line he sent a low center that Royscer Colpa finished off bitten. In the small area, the scorer Brayan Fernández deflected the ball with a subtle touch and the shot ended up on the post.
The second part began with the volcanic parity. After a rude error at the exit of the visiting defense, Mariano Vázquez advanced with great freedom and assisted Adrián Estacio, who defined an empty goal.
Seven minutes later, Vázquez himself raised a cross from the side that defender Cristian Tovar capitalized on with a header. The Nariño fans exploded with joy, but the VAR ruined the party. Everything was canceled out of place.
In the twilight of the game the night came to the tankers (83′). Goalkeeper Pier Grazziani suffered a soreness in his right leg and had to be replaced, but Alianza had already made all his variations. Reason why he had to continue in ‘half leg’.
Despite the siege and the continuous attempts of Pasto, the story ended equal to one goal. Flabio Torres’s team continues in the lower part (it reached nine units), while Barrancabermeja’s team partially got into the top eight with 12 units.
