Even though they have pocketed a 2-0 capital against Inter Milan at the opponent’s headquarters, Liverpool will still be wary of Inter Milan in the 2nd leg.
Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp warned Liverpool players against the threat of Inter Milan despite winning at the Giuseppe Meazza in the first leg of the Champions League last 16, Wednesday (16/2) evening local time.
Goals from Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah in the second half ensured Liverpool’s 2-0 victory away to Inter.
The victory made the Reds favorites to qualify for the quarter-finals.
But Klopp was reluctant to be lulled by the results of the first leg.
The 54-year-old coach said that Inter’s threat is still dangerous for Liverpool in the second leg of the Champions League which will be held on March 8.
