Montaigu. This weekend, the French youth archery championship took place, in the discipline of indoor shooting. The competition took place in Cholet. Two young people from the Montacutain club, the Archers de la Digue, were present. Manon Rabreau, in the minimal recurve category, finished 17e ex aequo and Noé Bareau, in the recurve cadet category, also finished in the 17the tied place.
“These two champion seeds managed to pass the play-offs and go to the second phase of the competition, namely the high-level duels”, welcomes Franck Rabreau, the president.
The stress was there for the two young archers as well as for their supporters who came to encourage them. A third archer from the local club was also selected for this weekend: Cédric Martin in the role of referee.
