RUGBY: Appreciated internships for young rugby players from ARL’XV

They took place during the second week of the February holidays.

Last week, the ARL’Xv rugby school offered its young players two days of training. The U8 and U10 were present on Tuesday and Wednesday, the U12 and U14 Thursday and Friday.

The U8 – U10 camp

Tuesday appointment was given at 8:45 am for the reception and direction the school Victor Hugo for a meeting with Toufik LEKHEHAL professional boxer, president of the Boxing Club Creusotin. Toufik offered an initiation and discovery of boxing course to our toddlers. Above all, showing them the similarity between the two sports and telling them that they weren’t there for the “fight” as some players said with a smirk, but to improve the tackle, confidence, self-control and avoidance. We bet that this session will have brought them a new vision of this sport.

Noon, lunch taken together and moment of relaxation.
In the afternoon, meet at COSEC with Stéphane, manager of Bump-Games in Mâcon and Fun & Sports Moulins for a game of Bubble Foot. What is that ? It’s simple, it’s playing football… in bubbles! The players are dressed in giant and secure bubbles, the sport becomes a hobby for everyone and all ages! On the program: bumps, rolls, celebrations, shocks, fun and laughter! You had to see our little ones having fun, screaming, twirling around to understand that they really appreciated this program.

Wednesday morning was devoted to football. This sport gives them motor skills, speed, endurance, dissociation between the upper and lower body.
Noon, lunch taken together and moment of relaxation.
1:30 p.m., departure for Mâcon and meeting at JUMPXTREM for a trampoline and Laser Game afternoon. Our toddlers loved it and will remember these pleasant moments for a long time.

Thursday, appointment was given at 8:45 am for the reception and direction rue Bayard in Creusot for a meeting at the Judo Club Creusotin. The session is led by Johnny POTET, 2nd dan black belt judo teacher, who is helped by Mouhamed BENYOUCEF, blue belt supervisor. Johnny offered an initiation and discovery of Judo course to our young people. We will remember the intensive training that must be endured by young judokas to reach the high level. It goes without saying that our players had a lightened approach to the subject but no less effective.
