Soria
Last Saturday, a new day of the First Division B National League took place at the José Antonio Segura Pavilion in Almería, in which the Club Badminton Soria-CS24 is immersed.
With the goal of remaining in the category, the club from Soria keeps its options intact with a balance of one win and one defeat that places it in sixth place in the standings and out of relegation places.
The day began with their confrontation against the Madrid Badminton Club Arroyo Tejada. The clash was marked as one of the confrontations to win, fulfilling the expectations for a victory by five wins to two. With a worrying start with one win and two losses in the doubles modalities, the four wins in singles by Nora Martínez, Javier Barrios, Ana Sanz and Marcos Fernández certified the victory for the Sorianos.
In the afternoon, the rival was the local Badminton Club Mercapinturas Almería. The Andalusian club, prepared for promotion, won the Soria club six games to one, with Javier Barrios achieving the point of honor.
After the halfway point of the competition, the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club awaits more affordable matches than those faced so far, so it is very likely that they will rise from the current sixth position.
The next appointment will be at the end of March in the Madrid town of Tres Cantos.
