SPORT. The Beauceron Sports Merit Gala has unveiled the finalists for the different categories for its 43e edition which will take place on Saturday April 9 at the Center Caztel in Sainte-Marie.
A total of 25 prizes will be awarded during the evening, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. A recipient for each of the 22 categories will be revealed during the event. The jury will then announce the winners of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Elites, chosen from among the category winners.
Remember that the 2021 edition was canceled due to the pandemic. The selection committee selected the finalists based on their achievements during the years 2020 and 2021.
The honorary presidency of the Gala was entrusted to Rosaire Sylvain, a native of Sainte-Marie. He is the author of the book Une épopée beauceronne. The book traces the history of the Beauce Hockey League, active from 1920 to 1986.
