Porto Alegre Guild: Diego Churín suspended for 15 days for indiscipline | Other Soccer Leagues

Complicated hours in the environment of one of the most representative teams in Brazilian football.

Guild announced this Thursday that he imposed a 15-day suspension of Argentine striker Diego Churín for an “act of indiscipline”after the striker got involved in a skirt mess with a woman in a hotel where the Porto Alegre team delegation stayed.

The incident that led to the harsh sanction occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, after the Gremio, which this year will have to play the second division of the Brazilian Championship, was defeated 3-2 in its visit to the humble Mirassol in the city of Sao José do Río Preto and prematurely eliminated from the Copa do Brasil.

The “act of indiscipline” was made public after a woman who was staying in the same hotel as the Guild delegation released videos on her social networks claiming to have been disappointed during an alleged intimate encounter with the Argentine soccer player.

“Bad on the ball and bad powder,” the accuser said in a post that quickly went viral.

Gremio announced in a statement this Thursday that, after being informed of the events in which Churín was involved in the early hours of Wednesday after the match with Mirassol and after the management discussed it with the attacker, “the athlete was sanctioned with a 15-day suspension from activities“.

The advice of the 32-year-old Argentine soccer player also released a statement in which “deeply regrets the clumsy way in which his name was exposed and the serious implications of the fact in his personal life and in his professional activity“.

Add that the attacker is “agree” with the sanction imposed by the Brazilian club and that he accepts it responsibly and is ready to fully comply with itbut that he will take the case to court to “determine possible illegalities and hold third parties responsible for the unauthorized dissemination of his image.”

Churín, hired by Gremio in October 2020 to alternate with Diego Souza, has scored 5 goals in his 44 games with the Porto Alegre team’s tricolor shirt.
