Majeed Ashimeru is starting to find his way in the midfield of RSC Anderlecht. Vincent Kompany put him on the bench for a long time, but in recent weeks he has always been in the starting lineup.
Ashimeru is feeling happy. “I am happy with my current form,” La Capitale is quoted as saying. “I had to wait for my chance. Even though it was sometimes difficult, I never doubted that I was at the right club. I love Anderlecht and I love the city. I miss my family less than in Austria or Switzerland.”
Ashimeru has a good relationship with Christian Kouamé. “I spend a lot of time with Christian. I met him in the dressing room right after he signed. We got along right away. He helped me a lot in difficult times by telling me that we all had ups and downs and that we had to keep working with our heads held high, I tell him to stay with Anderlecht after his loan.”
