Thorgan Hazard has had an eventful month. The Belgian winger was four times in the starting line-up for Borussia Dortmund, once he stayed on the bench for 90 minutes and in the 3-0 win at Union Berlin he was completely absent from the squad.
A lesson from coach Marco Rose, who explained: “We chose the squad that came up in training. And Toto wasn’t there.” Hazard returned quickly – but he probably doesn’t want to stay in Dortmund in the long term.
BVB hopes for 20 million
As can be seen from the ‘Bild’ podcast ‘Stammplatz’, Hazard’s father and advisor is already looking “Proactive” for a new club for his son. And BVB is also happy to be able to sell the 28-year-old for 20 million euros.
Even recently, the ‘Sport Bild’ Hazard was one of the Dortmund farewell candidates. It is still unclear where Hazard could go in the summer. His contract at Borsigplatz runs until 2024. In 2019 he came from Borussia Mönchengladbach for 25.5 million euros.
