2022 U 18 Men’s Basketball Marmara Region Group Championship will be held in Edirne between 8-12 March with the participation of 13 provincial teams.
Istanbul, Bursa, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ, Balıkesir, Sakarya, Kırklareli, Yalova, Bilecik, Düzce, Bursa and Edirne teams will participate in the group championship.
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Secondary School (FSM) U 18 Men’s Basketball Team will represent Edirne with 15 players and 4 names from the technical staff.
FSM U Men’s Basketball Team consists of the following players:
Arda Taybilli, Sinan Ekşi, Eren Kutlu, Kaya Arslan, Hüseyin Efe Can, Kaan Günduvan, Baran Karagöz, Yağız Efe Gökalp, Yiğit Köse, Oğulcan Emir, Başar Var, Yalın Efe Bilbaşar, Efe Dağ, Hamza Cemal, Yamaner and Efe Alaca.
The names of the coaches in the technical staff are as follows:
Sezer Parlak, Kader Rye, Mutlu Diramalı and Kaan Totu will serve.
FSM Coach Sezer Parlak said in a statement; “As the U 18 Men’s Basketball Team, we will represent Edirne as FSM in the Marmara Group Championship, which will be held in Edirne in 2022. Big cities have very strong teams in our group. We will represent Edirne by doing our best. Our aim is for our young players to gain experience in these tournaments and to bring them into Edirne basketball in the future. We call on basketball lovers from Edirne to support us,” he said.
