Ander Herrera will not play against Nice this Saturday evening (9 p.m.) in Ligue 1. The Spanish midfielder has been accumulating little worries lately. Already muscularly embarrassed for more than a week, the Basque is now affected in the right eye by an infection which will take several days to resolve. A diagnosis that PSG will specify this Friday afternoon during its traditional pre-match medical update.
On Thursday evening, Ander Herrera shared images of his eye on social media. “We are going through difficult days but I will be back very soon,” he wrote alongside the photos. The former Manchester United player has not played since January 31 in the Coupe de France against Nice. On February 4, he injured his left thigh and missed the shocks against Lille then Rennes. Back on the bench in Nantes, he relapsed before the match against Saint-Étienne last weekend.
