(Belga) Julien Carraggi and Elias Bracke were eliminated in the round of 16 of the Italia International badminton, endowed with 5,000 dollars, Friday in Milan in Italy.
After a victory in two sets (21-14, 21-19) in the first round against the Swiss Joel König, 192nd in the world, Carraggi, 153rd in the world, lost 16-21, 23-21 and 21-15 against the French Alex Lanier (BWF 177) in the round of 16. Elias Bracke, 185th in the world, won in the first round against Bulgarian Iliyan Stoynov, 267th in the world, in two sets 21-9, 21-16. He then lost 21-17, 21-11 to the Czech Jan Louda (BWF 120).
