It’s official. Barça B takes control of the pearl of the future: Pablo Torre.
Racing de Santander has reported this Friday night that it has reached an agreement with FC Barcelona for the transfer of the 18-year-old Cantabrian footballerwhich will end the 2021/22 season with the Verdiblanco team in the First RFEF.
Regarding the numbers of the operation, the transfer starts from a fixed amount of five million euros, but it can exceed 20 depending on other variables.
Torre signs with Barça until June 30, 2026, with a 100 million termination clause euros.
Thus, the footballer trained at the Nando Yosu Facilities will join the orders of Sergi Barjuan and, in his extension, Xavi Hernández, from June 30, 2022, to make the pre-season with the subsidiary and the first team from Barca.
Torre, a regular international with the Spanish under-19 team, has played 48 games as a professional and this season has played 21 games with the Racing shirt, during which he has scored six goals and has given six assists.
The club itself, in its contract statement, describes Torre as “a right-wing attacking midfielder, technically gifted and with the ability to make the last assist on goal. In addition, he has a good arrival from the second row, which also allows him to help the team with goals. He is also usually the taker of all set pieces.”
In his farewell, Racing dedicated some moving words to him in which he recalled that the player had rejected several proposals in previous years to continue with the Cantabrian club: “The Real Racing Club wants to thank Pablo Torre for his commitment to the entity since he joined wore his shirt for the first time in Infantil B in 2015, as well as the one shown by his family and environment, which they disregarded multiple offers to leave the entityespecially during his time in the cadet and youth category”.
