Present at a press conference this Saturday, Xavi was asked about the rumor circulating about his meeting with striker Erling Hland (21 years, 20 games and 23 goals in all competitions this season) in Germany this week. The FC Barcelona coach did not deny it, but he refused to say more about the Catalan club’s intentions in this matter.
“I can’t give you details. The only thing I can say is that we are working for the present and the future of Barca. When things can be announced, we will announce it as we did. yesterday (Friday) with Pablo Torre (see here),” the Blaugrana boss said.
According to the Catalan press, Barça has planned an investment estimated at 300 million euros to recruit the Borussia Dortmund striker (see yesterday’s brief at 11:30 a.m.).
