The Media Day turned the spotlight on Basket College Novara in perfect NBA style
Last weekend, in perfect NBA style, Basket College Novara organized “Media Day” to present teams and movement to supporters, families, partners and institutions.
An opportunity to further disseminate the corporate mission, to allow institutions to learn about future programs and our children to be immortalized for social channels and commercials. Just like it happens to the great stars of European and US basketball.
Protagonists, first of all, all the boys of the youth sector of Basket College Novara, who were able to try their hand at a real photographic set together with their teammates, coaches and companions as a reminder of a year of great technical and training experience.
To bring the greetings and support of the municipal administration the Councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Novara Ivan De Grandiswho underlined the importance of Basket College Novara within the social fabric of the city, dedicating words of appreciation to the technical and sporting project of an entire territory, complimenting the great progress made by the sports association in so few years of activity, both in terms of numbers achieved and of roots in the FIP championships.
They are then Simone Tarlao and Tommaso Brustiato illustrate the path that youth teams are facing. “The sporting season still in progress started inevitably conditioned by the health emergency in which we unfortunately fell back with the beginning of 2022 – explained the two managers – It was not easy to always work with constancy and conviction in the gym and pretend nothing happened, but in the end every effort was amply rewarded. The minimum goal of each child’s technical training growth has been achieved, but above all we see in them still many, many prospects for improvement, and on this we will continue to work on every single Collegiate. This in itself is a great satisfaction, but perhaps the greatest satisfaction, and our duty as sportsmen, was to welcome children who after many months, some even years, due to the forced lockdown, had completely stopped them. despite playing a sport. Seeing them go back to the gym, work and progress, believe me, was even exhilarating at times. And very much in tune with our College philosophy “.
Also the Delegated Councilor for Sport of the Province of Novara Anna Clara Iodicehe addressed great words of appreciation to the Project Basketball College Novara, underlining the enormous importance of organized sport within the social welfare of the Province and the great educational value of such professionalized and well-organized realities, so much so as to be able to support families and schools in the educational path of young people so well. The councilor wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to personally carry out a survey on the state of maintenance of the Bellini gymhome of the College youth teams.
To conclude the President Basketball College Novara Andrea Delconte:“The Municipality and the Province of Novara have always been committed to sport and have always supported our society, for this we can only thank them. The hope of Basket College Novara is to always continue with this exponential growth in enrollments in such a short time, even if we know well that it will not be easy. Due to the decadence of the past years, there is still a lot to do in Novara, but with constancy and perseverance we will reach the level of many other cities, just as Novara deserves. Also in this direction the merger reached with Basket Club Novara with the introduction of the first CSilver series team in the Basket College Novara project. A first team that will be made up exclusively of young people who have grown up in youth teams. After the pandemic, Basket College Novara was among the first to return to the field in our outdoor facility, the College Square Garden in Via Poerio and we are even more happy to be able to be in the gym practicing our favorite sport. Let’s just say to the guys, our Collegiate students, that if we all want to get the most out of it, we have to work hard 365 days a year, loving what we do every day in the gym and feeling privileged, compared to the forced blocking of activities due to lockdown that we hope will become soon a brief parenthesis and a distant memory “.
